On June 25 the Scientific Committee of PAI, the fund managed by Prelios SGR that is the operational tool for the creation and promotion of the FICO Eataly World, met at the Eataly pavilion in Expo 2015. The Committee, chaired by Andrea Segre consisting of the main Italian opinion leaders of the agri-food business, supports Prelios SGR in the definition of the investment policy of the Fund. The Scientific Committee has the task of guidance on the Italian agri-food topics training and disclosure, on the relationship with the scientific and professional sector and with the PAI Fund stakeholders. In the last session were also examined, in order adopt it, the contents of the “Carta di Milano”, a paper proposing the worldwide adoption of a series of policies about Food production, consumption, sustainability and security.
Andrea Cornetti is satisfied with the active participation of committee members in the works and emphasizes the strong connection of the values of FICO project with EXPO 2015.
At the end of the meeting the founder of Eataly, Oscar Farinetti, greeted the members of the committee.
