He joined the Prelios Group in 1995, holding a variety of increasingly senior roles: Chair of Prelios Innovation, Area Manager, Valuations Manager, Public Sector Manager and President of the G6 Advisor Consortium, Agency Manager for the Investors area.

He has more than 35 years of experience in Italian real estate services, with a unique network of industry relations.

Previously, he worked at the Fenera Group as branch manager and at Beni Stabili as real estate development manager.

He has been a RICS fellow since 2004.

Gabriella Breno has been CEO of Prelios Innovation since 2019, having joined Prelios in 2014 as Managing Director for Operations, a post she continues to hold.

From 2007 to 2013, she worked at Barclays Italia in a variety of posts, including Head of Business Planning, Development & Monitoring, Strategic Planning & Chief of Staff, Head of Salary Advanced Loans and Head of Cards & Salary Advanced Loans, reporting in the latter positions directly to the Chief Executive Officer and managing a team of more than 30 people.

From 2001 to 2007, she worked at Bain & Company as a member of the Financial Services Practice. She coordinated a range of projects, including the re-organization of the delivery networks, the definition of governance models, the review and implementation of remuneration strategy for internal and external collaborators.

From 2000 to 2001, Gabriella was CFO at Mover Spa, an internet secure payments start-up, where she implemented the management control and planning system, and managed investor relations and relations with the Board of Directors.

From 1997 to 2000, she was a Senior Consultant at Gemini Consulting. From 1996 to 1997, she was a project finance team member at Banca Commerciale Italiana. From 1995 to 1996 she was an Intern at the M&A and Advisory Department of JP Morgan.

Gabriella has a degree in economics with a specialization in finance from the Bocconi University. Since 2022 she has been a member of the Steering Council of the T6 Association and of the Scientific Committee of Alma Iura

He joined Prelios in 1995, holding a variety of increasingly senior roles.

From 2008 to 2014, he was involved in the restructuring to transform the Group into a Pure Management Company, and also took on directorships or sole-director positions in a number of companies and the post of Manager responsible for the preparation of the corporate accounts pursuant to art. 154 bis of the Consolidated Financial Act.

From 2005 to 2019, he was General Manager and Managing Director at Servizi Amministrativi Real Estate S.p.A., a professional services provider active in Administration/IT/Procurement/Payroll mainly for Group associates.

In 2002 he became Chief Administrative Officer & Controller at Pirelli RE, where he developed significant experience through his involvement in the parent company’s admission to trading and in the management of significant projects and recurrent extraordinary operations relating to corporate acquisitions and/or restructurings; notably, he was financial manager for the start-up of the European platform in Amsterdam.

In 1995, he joined Milano Centrale Servizi, as manager in charge of the consolidated and separate financial statements of the services companies, gaining expertise in budgeting, project monitoring, investment initiative analysis and business planning.

He began his career in 1991 as an auditor at Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers).

He graduated in Business & Economics from the Catholic University of Milan in 1990 and subsequently took an MBA.

He is a certified public accountant and registered on the Register of Statutory Auditors.

He joined Prelios Innovation in 2019 as Head of Operations.

From 2010 to 2019 he worked at EY S.p.A., holding posts in a number of service lines.

In 2018-2019, in collaboration with the EY Capital Markets division, he took part in the project for the development of a bank start-up to operate in NPL purchasing/management.

From 2014 to 2018, he was involved in ECB and Bank of Italy audit support projects and the implementation/updating of bank operating processes in the wake of the creation of the European Single Supervisory Mechanism.

In the early years of his career (2010 to 2014), in the Assurance division, he worked in account auditing, internal control system analysis, and financial reporting and IAS/IFRS analysis.

He holds a degree in Economics & Corporate Law with a specialization in Finance and Markets, from the Catholic University of Milan.

He joined Prelios Innovation in 2019 as Head of Business Development.

From 2017 to 2019, he worked first at the Hypo Tirol Bank in Austria as Head of Workout Italy, and subsequently in Italy, as general manager of an NPL servicer.

From 2013 to 2017, on his return to Italy, he became head of Business Development – Banking & Financial Institutions, at UCCMB, later renamed doBank.

From 2009 to 2013, following the Capitalia-UniCredit merger, he joined UniCredit Credit Management Bank, moving to Germany to work first as head of the German branch of the NPL management team and later as UCCMB Country Manager Germany.

From 2014 to 2008, he worked as asset manager, corporate files, at Capitalia Service, a joint venture set up by Gruppo Bancario Capitalia and Archon Group.

He holds a degree in law and is qualified to practice as a lawyer. For many years he was an honorary reader in law at the University of Bari.
