Milano, 18 marzo 2020 - The Prelios Group is providing support for the Fatebenefratelli Sacco hospital in Milan, a healthcare unit on the front line in dealing with the COVID-19 emergency.

Prelios has decided to make a donation of 50,000 euro to the Emergency Medicine and Accident and Emergency Operating Unit of the Fatebenefratelli e Oftalmico Hospital. The sum will be used to purchase equipment needed by the departments most severely affected by the current emergency.

This is why our Group has decided to support the Fatebenefratelli Sacco hospital in Milan, an outstanding facility whose staff are working on the front line with professionalism, courage and generosity. I greatly appreciate the important decisions taken by Intesa Sanpaolo to stand at the side of the State and the country, and I share the comments of CEO Carlo Messina: a mood of resignation must not prevail. Pride is what is needed. We all have to do what we can to strengthen the structure of the healthcare system and help the extraordinary people working in it.

"At this time of national emergency in the management of the COVID-19 epidemic, I want to express our deep gratitude for the financial support provided by Prelios for the purchase of equipment needed by the departments most seriously affected by the emergency,” said Dr Alessandro Visconti, General Manager of the Fatebenefratelli Sacco socio-healthcare unit. “To meet the needs of the current situation, it is very important that we are able to purchase equipment and help the hospital departments most greatly exposed at the present time.
