Prelios Agency finalizes sale of “Villino Morani”, a prestigious building in central Rome

Prelios Agency, a Prelios Group company specialized in property consultancy and brokerage services, has finalized the sale of “Villino Morani”, a prestigious office building located in Via Sicilia 136, close to Via Veneto, in Rome’s smart Sallustiano district.

Prelios Agency acted as advisor for both the seller, on behalf of Marseglia Group, a leading Italian industrial group active in a range of sectors, and for the purchaser as end user.

A Renaissance-style building designed by architect Carlo Pincherle, Villino Morani dates from the early 1900s. In the 1950s, it became the Rome residence of publisher Arnoldo Mondadori and later the Rome headquarters of his publishing house until 2015.

The property consists of four storeys and a basement, for a total area of approximately 2,300 square meters, and offers a garden and parking space.

Director Office, Retail and Hospitality di Prelios Agency Mauro Fiori said: “We are delighted with the successful completion of the transaction to the complete satisfaction of both our clients. The sale confirms the continued interest of investors in trophy properties in Rome's most exclusive districts.”
