Fabio Panzeri has joined the Prelios Group as Chief Operating Officer, to guarantee and support the consolidation and effective management of Group operations, with a specific focus on achievement of plan targets.
Reporting directly to Prelios Group General Manager Riccardo Serrini, Fabio Panzeri is responsible for the coordination and management of Group operations, and for Information Technology, Human Resources, Organization and Purchasing.
Before joining Prelios, Fabio Panzeri, 39, was Director of the European Portfolio Operations team at Bain Capital Credit (USD 40 billion of assets under management), where he set up the pan-European servicing infrastructure and operating organization and directly managed investments in NPL/UTP and Real Estate portfolios in Spain and Italy.
Before that, he was with the Eni Group, where he held a number of managerial posts. After working as assistant to the Group CEO, he was appointed CFO of Eni Trading and Shipping in London, later returning to Italy as Senior Vice President for Planning & Control and Risk Management operations at the Group's Midstream division.
Panzeri began his career in Bain & Company, working in the area of strategic consultancy projects and subsequently in corporate turnaround and financial restructuring operations for Italian SMEs. He graduated in Business Administration from the Bocconi University in Milan and holds a Master in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, USA.
