Sergio Cavallino, Prelios Group Chief Financial Officer, acknowledged with an award at the 2019 CFO Awards event. The awards ceremony took place on November 13, at Palazzo Mezzanotte, the headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana.

Sergio Cavallino received the CFO Award in the Unlisted Companies category, for "having brilliantly managed the Prelios turnaround phase and for having developed an internal control system based on highly innovative KPIs, fundamental for the delisting operation and for entry of the American Davidson Kempner Fund". The CFO Awards, now in their fourth edition, is the brainchild of Accuracy (Independent international consulting firm) and ANDAF (National Association of Financial Management Directors) in collaboration with Borsa Italiana and Elite.

The award winners of the 2019 CFO Awards, in addition to Sergio Cavallino, were Alberto De Paoli, CFO of Enel and Agostino Scornajenchi CFO of Terna, ex aequo for companies listed on the MTA of the Italian Stock Exchange; Palmina Caruso, CFO of DBA Group, for companies listed on the AIM; Andrea Traverso, CFO of Objectway for the Elite company category and, finally, two special acknowledgements awarded to Marco Bariletti, CFO of Linkem and Alessandra Pasini, CFO of Snam.
