On the occasion of the worldwide Cities for our Future Challenge (www.citiesforourfuture.com), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) offers an opportunity for reflection and discussion on the future of our cities. For Italy, the focus is on Milan with the seminar entitled Le Città del Futuro , which looked at the changes where the regional capital of Lombardy is leading the field in many ways. Milan today is no longer just a fashion capital, but a constantly evolving center where architecture, design, art, culture, tradition, modernity and innovation come together in perfect harmony.
Lina Scavuzzo, Head of Urban Planning at Prelios Integra, joined Pierfrancesco Maran, Milan City Councilor for Urban Planning, and Simona Collarini, Milan City Director of Urban Planning, for the round table “Milano risponde”, moderated by Il Sole 24 Ore journalist Paola Dezza. The panel analyzed the changes taking place in Milan and the city’s future outlook, and also considered the Territorial Government Plan currently being drafted.
