Milano, 13 March 2018 - Conservative Restoration has been recently carried out by Prelios Integra on a 19th century building, listed as protected by the Italian Architectural Heritage Department, located in Milan’s city centre. The building at 18 via Durini is next to the Santa Maria della Sanità church (1694), in the heart of the city’s design district, hosting the events connected to the Salone del Mobile and Milano Design Week.
A building with 6 floors and an additional basement floor, 18 via Durini is owned by Prelios SGR’s Fondo Immobiliare Primo RE. The Milan-based Asti Architetti have projected the intervention. The conservative restoration of the historical façade is counterbalanced by the dynamic interiors, which include wide terraces and a green oasis in the courtyard.
Prelios Integra has handled the project management of the works, which involved the participation of more than twenty players (client; tenants; general work, installations, fire protection and LEED departments; project heads and safety coordinators in the design and execution stages; structural design, architectural, installation, fire protection, green and geothermic teams; archaeologists; Lombardy Archaeological, Fine Art and Landscape Superintendence, etc.).
The building is designed to achieve the Gold Level of the prestigious LEED® certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental DesignTM).
