  • Management of one of the top Italian real estate SGRs, with about €4bn total assets, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
  • In charge of the entire business and staff structure of the company, which has about 60 employees.
  • In charge of presenting the budget and the three-year plan to the Board of Directors and their implementation.
  • Through the Business Development unit, in charge of increasing the assets under management, by creating and developing new real estate funds and investor relations, supervising, coordinating and directing the overall operations of the 33 real estate funds under management, through the Fund Management unit.
  • Under his management, the SGR has overperformed, in EBIT terms, with respect to the management plans approved for the latest three-year period, by, among other things:
    • setting up 12 new real estate funds, with about €2bn additional AuM;
    • widening the subscriber base to the managed funds, with more than 30 new major institutional investors
    • carried out divestments for about €1.8bn of AuM, in line with the plans for the liquidation of the funds under management close to their expiration date and in compliance of the covenants related to the outstanding loans

  • Structuring of FIMIT International, a company set up in 2011 to support the SGR in developing its international activities.
  • Previously, for FIMIT SGR, in charge of the Projects and Organisation (Human Resources, Organisation and IT, Special Projects) and External Relations function.

From 2015 to 2016, Nicola worked at the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, where he participated in the start-up project for the management of doubtful bank real-estate loans. Previously, from 2014 to 2015, he was Head of Fund Management Office at Prelios SGR.

In 2007, Nicola joined Generali Immobiliare Italia SGR as an analyst, where he remained until 2014, in the successive roles of Asset Manager, Fund Manager and Head of the Dynamic Portfolio B.U.

From 2006 to 2007, Nicola provided real-estate consulting at Reag S.p.A., where he was responsible for international projects with the Paris and Madrid offices.

Nicola began his career in 2004 at Stelline Servizi Immobiliari, a real-estate company belonging to the Credito Valtellinese Group.

He graduated from Milan Polytechnic and specialised in real-estate finance at SDA Bocconi.
