Born in Mexico City on June 24, 1961. Married with 3 children.

  • 2017 – today Cofinance Group SA – member of the Board of Directors, through its subsidiaries Cofinance SAS in France and Cofinance Inc. in the USA, the Cofinance Group develops and manages a diversified portfolio of property assets in the retail, office,hotel and residential segments.

  • 2016 – today PROPENSIONE S.p.A. – Founder and Operations Manager of Propensione, an innovative fintech start-up active in insurance brokerage and pensions using a proprietary software based on algorithmic processes.

  • 2015 – today ULI (Urban Land Institute) – Past President and Executive Committee Member of ULI Italy, a worldwide no-profit research and training organization set up to promote better use of land.

  • 2015 – today RISANAMENTO S.p.A. – Vice Chair and member of the Board of Directors of Risanamento, a property company listed on the Italian stock exchange, and member of the Boards of Directors of the main subsidiaries.

  • 2014 – today GCS & PARTNERS – Founder and Director of GCS&P, a financial and strategic consultancy active mainly in Real Estate, Tourism and Infrastructure.

  • 2007 – 2014 ASSICURAZIONI GENERALI – GENERALI REAL ESTATE
    CEO and General Manager of Generali Real Estate, Trieste-Paris, an asset management and property and facility management services company with operating divisions in 11 countries and a team of 500 professionals. Generali Real Estate manages 29 billion of assets for the companies of the Generali Group and a number of selected institutional investors, including pension funds and sovereign funds.
    Under Scotti’s management, the company was formed by merging into a single entity the Generali Group divisions already active in property management, and has become the second-largest European player.
    Chair of Generali Immobiliare Italia SGR, an asset management company specialized in the creation and management of property funds for institutional investors.
    Rapporteur of the Group Investments Committee.

He currently is Chief Financial Officer of Prelios S.p.A., and, since 2011, he is Head of Operations & Finance of Prelios SGR with responsibilities of Administration & Treasury, Finance, Planning & Control, Process & Organization and IT.

In 2009 he was appointed as Head of Portfolio Management of Prelios Credit Servicing, coordinating the activities of for the preparation of securitization business plans and reporting to the noteholders, rating agencies and supervisory authorities. Furthermore he was responsible for the relations with domestic and international investors of securitization managed.

In 2002 he joined Prelios (former Pirelli Group) in the finance area and gained a valuable experience as Structured Finance Manager in the newly-listed Prelios, he was in charge of structuring and financial negotiations referring to different business units – residential, non performing loans, service companies – as well as international development activities of the Group (Poland and Germany).

For two years in the Planning & Control function of Edisontel SpA, (Edison start-up in the telecommunications sector) he was in charge of planning and monitoring of business plans for company development projects, working in an evolving industry within a structured group.

He started his career in AT Kearney as foreign strategic consultant in the telecommunications sector.

He graduated in Management Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.

In Prelios SGR since 2006. Currently, he is Director Fund Management.

He joined Prelios SGR as Asset Manager in 2006 and then assumed the role of the Head of Office and Retail Asset Management until 2011. He held positions of increasing responsibility; recently he was appointed Head of Fund Management Residential & Public Sector, and in 2015 he also took office as Real Estate Acquisition Manager.

He started his careers in 2000 working for six years at Warner Music Italy, as Financial Controller with a focus on planning for the medium - long term and on the analysis of business opportunity and investment.

He graduated at Bocconi University  in Business Administration and obtained a Executive Master in Business Administration at MIP School of Management of Politecnico University in Milan.

Luigi Novero joined Prelios SGR in September 2017, and is currently Senior Vice President Fund management Alternative Investment.

From 2016 to 2017 he was Senior Fund Manager at Antirion SGR; previously, from 2010 to 2016, he was Fund Manager at Fabrica Immobiliare SGR.

In 2007, he joined Pirelli Real Estate S.p.A., where he worked until 2010, as an investment analyst in the Tourism business unit and later as an asset manager in the Residential business unit.

He began his professional career at Grandi Stazioni, a company in the Ferrovie dello Stato group.

He holds a degree in Economics & Corporate Law from the Bocconi University.

With Prelios SGR since October 2016, he is currently Senior Vice President Fund Management Core+ & Value Added.

From 2015 to 2016, Nicola worked at the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, where he participated in the start-up project for the management of doubtful bank real-estate loans. Previously, from 2014 to 2015, he was Head of Fund Management Office at Prelios SGR.

In 2007, Nicola joined Generali Immobiliare Italia SGR as an analyst, where he remained until 2014, in the successive roles of Asset Manager, Fund Manager and Head of the Dynamic Portfolio B.U.

From 2006 to 2007, Nicola provided real-estate consulting at Reag S.p.A., where he was responsible for international projects with the Paris and Madrid offices.

Nicola began his career in 2004 at Stelline Servizi Immobiliari, a real-estate company belonging to the Credito Valtellinese Group.

He graduated from Milan Polytechnic and specialised in real-estate finance at SDA Bocconi.

(*) On October 24, 2019, the Prelios SGR S.p.A. Board of Directors assigned management and related powers to director Sergio Cavallino, including legal representation of the company.
